On Thursday evening, November 24, 2011 I was working in my studio upstairs. It was about 8:30PM. Something hit the roof above me and rolled down the roof. I didn't think much of it until we discovered a steel ball on the concrete at the front of the house on Saturday, Nov. 26. It appeared that someone had used a slingshot to hit the roof, using the steel ball as ammo.

We called the LSPolice non-emergency number at about 5:15PM Saturday evening, November 26, 2011. Ptlm. Bredbenner (with the K-9 Unit) arrived about 15 minutes later. We explained the situation and showed 
him the undisturbed steel ammo ball still resting on the concrete at the front of the house. He identified the ball as slingshot ammo, as his son has a slingshot and that'sthe ammo they use. He said he would report the incident and to let them know if anything else happens.

We have been hearing things hit the house for about thelast month. They tend to be hitting the pond side of thehouse...the side of our house that faces the Repash neighbors.

We are now going to pay more attention when we hear these thumps. We are planning on looking for additional steel balls in the periwinkle on the pond side of the house. But they might have used rocks as ammunition previously.
